Back in 2023, we highlighted the ongoing issues local businesses faced at the hands of Aggregate industries. Now in 2024 a year later we revisit this and are sad to see little to no improvement.
Although Aggregate Industries has make many promises, they have failed to deliver. They have not installed a new wheel washer, and often don't use it, and if they do, they drive from the washer straight through all the mud and dust again. Lorries without covers speed through our roads spilling rocks and stones which cause a hazard to vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and businesses.
Above all, we still have the dust, choking us and getting in our eyes and lungs.
